17 corps members hospitalized with Covid-19 symptoms in Edo.

17 corps members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) deployed to Edo State were admitted to the hospital after showing symptoms of COVID19.

They were taken to the Stella Obacorpssanjo Hospital in Sapele Road, Benin, Edo State for treatment.

Chief Medical Director (CMD) of Edo Government-owned hospital, Dr. Osagie Ebomwonyi, who spoke while in the company of Governor Godwin Obaseki at some point of an inspection tour of the state’s infectious disorder isolation centre at the hospital in Benin, stated that even though the instances were unvaccinated, they have been mission research and analysis to discover out if there was once Delta variant in the state.

Edo Coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Personal Assistant, Mr. Ozeto Waheed, demonstrated the 17 Corps members were mobilised to serve in the South-south state.

Waheed disclosed the deployed corps members, as advised by means of Edo coordinator of NYSC, Mrs. Abiodun Olubukola, had been always first examined at the gate of the orientation camp whilst these who examined fine for COVID-19 have been commonly moved to the isolation centre.
