Kayanmata seller, Hauwa Mohammed popularly known as Jaruma has reacted to court’s ruling on Kannywood actress, Sadiya HarunSadiya was recently arraigned before the court on charges of defaming her ex-boyfriend, actor, Isah A. Isah.
She was sentenced to six months in prison without an option of a fine.
Speaking on the ruling in an Instagram post on Tuesday, Jaruma said Nigeria has failed women and being a woman is challenging.
She said:“Nigeria is just men against women. They will never do that to their own fellow man but once you are a woman in Nigeria, life will be very difficult.”
Speaking on Sadiya’s relationship with her ex-lover, Jaruma said: “They are lovers. He is her (ex-boyfriend/ ex-husband) and you all know how lovers quarrel is. Didn’t he know all this before?… When he was on top of her enjoying her. he did not see all these abi? ”
